For distances up to 50 meters, use a 4-wire shielded cable (AWG 24 or 21 depending on exact distance). If the distance is between 80 to 100 meters, use a 3-wire cable (AWG 18) combined with an RG-59 or RG-6 coaxial cable specifically for the video signal.
On compatible panels like the ML-30CRHD, press and hold the reset button situated under the resin cap on the back cover for 3 seconds until a long beep sounds. Release and quickly press it 3 times to complete a memory format and reset the password (the default master password is typically 1234).
Remove the resin cap from the back of the camera panel and hold the camera mode button for 5 seconds. This will toggle the feed between AHD 1080p, AHD 720p, and analog CVBS (PAL) modes.
Enter the settings mode using your master password. Press 3 followed by the # button to enter key setting mode, type a 3-digit cell number (e.g., 000-199), and touch the new key near the card reader zone. You'll hear a long beep upon successful pairing.
From the master account logged in on the Smart Call app, go to the device monitoring screen, tap the settings icon, and select 'Add sharing'. Enter the account name (email) used on the 'Smart Call' app of the secondary mobile phone to grant them access.
