Power Technology provides a limited warranty from the date of purchase on manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. Note that breaking factory-sealed locking rings or sealed potentiometers on your laser module will instantly void the warranty.
No returns are accepted by PTI without an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number clearly displayed on the return package. You must contact the factory directly to receive an RMA. Have your model number, serial number, and a description of your problem ready.
While some units provide focusing capability, extreme care is necessary. Because diode power supplies rely on internal feedback, adjusting the focus or removing the lens with the module operating at full power can completely destroy the laser diode.
