FEBCO support FAQ
이 브랜드의 매뉴얼, 등록, 지원에 대한 일반적인 질문입니다.
-
Who should install and maintain FEBCO backflow assemblies?
Installation and maintenance of FEBCO assemblies should always be performed by a qualified, licensed technician in accordance with local building and plumbing codes.
-
What is the purpose of the FEBCO flood sensor?
The flood sensor, such as those found on the LF860 or LF880V series, detects excessive discharge from the relief valve. When paired with a Cellular Gateway or BMS kit, it triggers a notification of a potential flood event so immediate action can be taken.
-
Why is my FEBCO relief valve continuously discharging?
Continuous discharge is typically caused by debris on the check valve seating surfaces or the relief valve surfaces. A licensed technician will need to depressurize, disassemble, and clean the internal components.
-
Do I need a special add-on to use the flood sensor features?
Yes, an add-on or retrofit sensor connection kit (like the SentryPlus Alert Cellular Gateway) is required to activate the flood sensor. Without the kit, the sensor is simply a passive component.
-
How often does a FEBCO backflow preventer need to be tested?
This product must be tested periodically in compliance with local codes, but typically at least once per year or more as service conditions warrant, using appropriate ASSE Series 5000 test methods.
