Follow these steps for proper installation of your Veise VS01 Keyless Entry Electronic Keypad Deadbolt. A screwdriver is the only tool required for most installations.

Connect the cable connector from the exterior assembly to the socket on the interior assembly, ensuring it is fully attached. Align the axle from the exterior assembly with the hole in the latch. Attach the interior assembly to the mounting plate and tighten the remaining screws.

3.4 Battery Installation and Initial Reset

The lock requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Load 3 AA batteries into the battery compartment. Press and hold the Reset button on the interior assembly using the reset tool. While holding the Reset button, load the 4th battery and continue holding the Reset button for 3 seconds. Release the button and cover the battery compartment. This completes the initial reset and calibration.

5.2 Emergency Power Port

In case of complete battery depletion, you can temporarily power the lock using an external power bank connected to the emergency power port. This allows you to enter your code and replace the batteries.
