3. Operating the KeyStep 37

3.1. Keybed Features

It offers 64 steps with 8-note polyphony per step. Up to 8 sequences can be saved and switched on the fly. Adjust swing, gate time, and tempo subdivision during playback.

The enhanced Chord mode transforms single notes into musical chords. Choose from multiple voicings, instrument-like strum effects, and velocity settings. Quantize notes to a list of standard or user-defined scales. The LED strip above the keyboard provides visual feedback, indicating which notes are allowed in the selected scale.

The KeyStep 37 features 4 rotary knobs, providing 16 accessible Continuous Controller (CC) assignments.
