1. Insert 2 AA alkaline batteries (not included) into the main unit's battery compartment for backup.
2. Plug the 5V AC power adapter into a wall outlet and then into the main unit. The display will light up.

2. Setting Up the Outdoor Sensor

1. Insert 2 AA alkaline batteries (not included) into the TX141TH-Bv2 outdoor sensor.
2. Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded location, protected from direct sunlight and rain, for accurate readings. Ensure it is within 300 feet (91 meters) of the main unit.

3. Initial Sensor Connection

Once both units are powered, the main unit will automatically search for and connect to the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. If the outdoor readings do not appear, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
