3.1 배터리 설치

3.2 설치 위치
For optimal protection, install smoke alarms in every sleeping room and on every level of your home, including the basement. Place alarms in hallways outside of sleeping areas. Avoid installing in kitchens, bathrooms, or garages where steam, cooking fumes, or exhaust can cause false alarms.

- After installing the battery, attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling or wall using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.
- Align the alarm unit with the mounting bracket and twist clockwise until it locks into place. The alarm should feel secure.
- Test the alarm immediately after installation (refer to Section 4.1).
4. 운영
4.1 알람 테스트

- Press and hold the test button located on the cover of the alarm.
- The alarm will sound a loud, pulsating horn. This indicates the alarm is working.

The red LED indicator light on the alarm will flash approximately once every 30-40 seconds. This indicates that the alarm is receiving power and functioning correctly.

The alarm will chirp approximately once every 30-40 seconds when the battery is low. Replace the 9V battery immediately when this occurs.
- Twist the alarm unit counter-clockwise to remove it from the mounting bracket. The bracket will remain on the ceiling/wall.

Clean your smoke alarm at least once a month. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the alarm's cover and ventilation openings. Do not use water, cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the unit.
