The Polaroid One Step 600 camera requires Polaroid 600 format film. Each film pack contains both the film and a built-in battery to power the camera.
- Ensure the camera is closed and the flash is folded down.
- Locate the film door latch on the front or side of the camera. Slide or press the latch to open the film door.
- Insert a new pack of Polaroid 600 film into the film compartment. The darkslide (a protective cover) on the film pack should face upwards. Ensure the pack is fully seated.
- Close the film door firmly until it clicks into place. The camera will automatically eject the darkslide. Do not pull the darkslide; allow the camera to eject it naturally.
- The film counter will indicate the number of remaining exposures.
