  • How long does it take for a Wave Spa to heat up?

    Heating the water in a Wave Spa typically takes between 1-1.5°C (2-3°F) per hour, depending on the starting water temperature and ambient air temperature.

  • Can I use an extension cord with my Wave Spa?

    No. Do not use an extension cord to connect the spa to the electrical supply. This can lead to voltage drops, overheating of the cable, and potential fire hazards or electric shock. The spa must be connected directly to a grounded outlet.

  • What should I do if the RCD plug trips?

    The RCD (Residual Current Device) plug is a safety feature. To test it: insert the plug, press ON/RESET (light turns red), press OFF/TEST (light turns off), then press ON/RESET again. If the light does not turn red or trips unexpectedly, disconnect the spa immediately and contact Wave Customer Services.

  • What maintenance is required for the spa water?

    You should clean the filter regularly and change the water periodically. Showering before use is recommended to prevent cosmetic residues from degrading water quality. Do not add water to chemicals; always add chemicals to water to avoid reactions.

  • Can I leave my Wave Spa outdoors in winter?

    Wave Spas should not be left outside for long periods in temperatures lower than 5°C (41°F) unless they have 'Freeze Protect' technology activated, as this can cause irreparable damage to the pump system and liner.
