Before replacing batteries, you must switch the control panel to Service Mode to prevent triggering a tamper alarm. Once in Service Mode, open the detector cover, verify the correct battery polarity (typically AA, AAA, or CR2032 depending on the model), and replace all batteries simultaneously. Always use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries as specified in the manual.
Devices can be enrolled using the F-Link software. Select a free position in the 'Devices' tab and click 'Enroll'.
