You have two primary options for mounting your XLUX Solar Lights:

• Adhesive Fixing: For a less permanent solution, outdoor double-sided tape or strong adhesive Velcro strips (not included) can be used.

For screw installation, mark the positions for the two screws on your desired surface, ensuring the 3-inch (76.2 mm) spacing is accurate. Drill pilot holes if necessary. Insert the screws, leaving them slightly protruding so the light unit's keyhole slots can slide over the screw heads and lock into place. Due to the precise fit, careful alignment is crucial. Some users find creating a paper template for screw hole marking helpful.

The XLUX Solar Lights are designed for automatic operation. Locate the push-button switch on the back of each unit. Press this button to cycle between the ON and OFF modes. For automatic dusk-to-dawn illumination, ensure the switch is in the 'ON' position. The lights will then charge during the day and automatically activate when it gets dark.

These lights are not equipped with motion sensors and will provide continuous illumination from dusk until dawn, or until the battery charge is depleted.

To ensure optimal performance, regularly clean the solar panel surface of each light. Dust, dirt, leaves, or other debris can accumulate and reduce the efficiency of sunlight absorption, leading to shorter illumination times. Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the solar panel.

The XLUX Solar Lights are equipped with a standard AAA rechargeable Ni-MH battery. Over time, the battery's capacity may decrease, resulting in reduced illumination duration. To replace the battery, carefully access the battery compartment, typically located on the back of the unit. Ensure the replacement battery is a rechargeable AAA Ni-MH type.
